Our leadership | David Rhodes

David Rhodes was appointed Executive Chairman, Sky News Group in 2023 with overall responsibility for Sky's news services across EMEA. Sky News Group includes Sky News, Sky TG24, their digital extensions, partnerships, and joint ventures.  The Group has more than 800 editorial staff globally.

David joined Sky 2021 as Group Director of International Business Development. He has more than 25 years of experience in journalism, including as President of CBS News, Head of US Television at Bloomberg and VP of News for Fox. He has advised the L.A. Times, Spotify, and BCG.

As an avid supporter of the next generation of talent, David has served on the Board of Trustees of Rice University, the Advisory Board of the Scripps-Howard School of Journalism, and chaired the Advisory Board of the Edward R Murrow Center for a Digital World within Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
