Our leadership | Devesh Raj

Devesh Raj is Group Chief Operating Officer and was appointed in late 2023. 

Devesh joined Sky in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer, Continental Europe. He was Chief Commercial Officer, Sky Deutschland on an interim basis, before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer, Sky Deutschland in 2020.  Devesh led Sky’s business in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) until late 2023 when he moved to the UK business.

Prior to Sky, Devesh spent five years as Head of Strategy and Financial Planning at Comcast-NBCUniversal in the United States where he focused on growth opportunities for the company. Previously, he spent 14 years with the Boston Consulting Group in New York as Senior Partner and Managing Director, where he led the Technology, Media and Telecom unit in North America. In this role, Raj’s focus was on strategy and analysis of leading companies and emerging businesses in enterprise technology, media, telecom, software development and customer service.

Devesh holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Yale University.
