Our leadership | Elke Walthelm

Elke Walthelm has been Chief Operating Officer at Sky Deutschland since October 2023 and is responsible for the Programme, Technology, Content Operations and People Functions units.

Walthelm became part of the management team in February 2016 and had since been responsible for all content issues at Sky Deutschland as Executive Vice President. She was appointed to the company's Management Board in 2020 and also took on the role of Managing Director of NBC Universal Global Networks Germany in the same year. The Technology and Content Operations units, which bundle IT and broadcast-relevant functions, fell under her remit in June 2023. Since November 2023, taking over People Functions, she has also been in charge of all Human Resources matters. Before joining Sky in 2005, Walthelm worked for the strategic management consultancy BBDO Consulting, now Batten & Company.
