Meet Our Artists
Samira Addo
Samira Addo is a self-taught portrait artist based in London. Her style is considered as contemporary realism and she has had experience studying under artists such as Nathan Ford and Ilaria Rosselli Del Turco at The Art Academy. Samira’s paintings have been described as ‘capturing an energy’- Kate Bryan and ‘magic’ – Tai Shan Schierenberg. She was winner of Portrait Artist of the Year in 2018.
Tom Mead
Tom Mead is a London based painter focusing on portraiture and figurative artwork. His work has recently been included in Art of London’s Augmented Gallery trail, ING Discerning Eye and shortlisted in The Ruth Borchard Prize 2021. He was a finalist of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year in 2019.
Danny Howes
Danny Howes is portrait artist based in Birmingham. He primarily paints people in oils and has an ability to communicate emotion and atmosphere using texture. He exhibits his work in Reuben Colley Fine Art in Birmingham. He was a finalist of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year in 2018.
Duncan Shoosmith
Duncan Shoosmith is a self-taught artist based in North Wiltshire. He has twice exhibited in the BP Portrait Award, an annual portraiture competition held at the National Portrait Gallery. He won Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year in 2019.
Aine Divine
Aine Divine is a portrait artist and art teacher from Cork who is now based in Midlothian, Scotland. She exhibits widely in Scotland and won the watermark award at the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour Summer Show. She was a finalist of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year in 2014.
