Jonathan Licht is Chief Executive Officer, Sky Sports, for Sky UK & Ireland, leading one of Europe's largest and most influential sports media businesses.

Jonathan joined Sky in 1998 and has held a number of senior leadership roles across the business, including Director of Strategy and Business Development, Deputy Managing Director and Managing Director of Sky Sports, before being appointed in his current role. Throughout his career, he has played a central role in many of Sky Sports' most significant strategic developments, helping transform the business into the UK's leading sports broadcaster.

Today, he is responsible for the strategic direction of Sky Sports, overseeing its market-leading portfolio of rights, products, partnerships and content. Jonathan is driving Sky Sports' ambition to become the most entertaining, innovative and welcoming sports business in Europe, engaging millions of fans every week across television, streaming, digital and social platforms.

Under his leadership, Sky Sports has secured long-term partnerships across many of the world's biggest sporting properties, providing customers with greater certainty than ever and reinforcing its position as the home of football, Formula 1, cricket, golf, tennis, rugby league, darts and the NFL. He has also been instrumental in strengthening Sky Sports' commitment to women's sport as the UK's leading investor in women's sports rights, expanding coverage to reach new audiences and inspire the next generation of athletes and fans.

Jonathan has overseen a period of record audiences, industry-leading innovation and significant expansion across digital and social platforms. Working closely with leagues, governing bodies and rights holders, he has strengthened Sky Sports' reputation as the partner of choice for the sports industry while helping shape the future of sport for fans, partners and athletes in the UK & Ireland.

Alongside his role at Sky, Jonathan serves on the board of Goals 4 Girls, supporting the charity's mission to create greater opportunities for girls and young women through sport.
