Allez Wiggo!
Allez Wiggo!
Sky offices up and down the country are a blur of yellow today as we show our support for cycling’s man of the moment, Bradley Wiggins.
I’m lucky enough to be heading to Paris this weekend, and can’t wait to experience the atmosphere of the final stage as they whiz around the Champs-Élysées. A British victory looks closer than ever for the first time in the Tour’s history and for a team that is only three years old it will be an incredible achievement and one that makes us very proud.
We’ve been involved with British Cycling since 2008 and over that time we’ve seen more and more Brits taking to their bikes whether for fun, commuting or competing. Closer to home, here at Sky, it’s been great to watch cycling become a big part of our workplace and culture. This weekend I’ll be joined in Paris by 140 Sky employees who are currently cycling there from London.
But wherever people are, we know everyone will be cheering on Brad for tomorrow’s Time Trial and the final lap on Sunday. The video above shows just a few of his supporters, many more are taking to Twitter on #believeinbritain too.
