Blue Bloods returns to Sky Atlantic HD
Sky Atlantic HD today announce BLUE BLOODS will return to the channel with the UK premiere of season four on Thursday 28 November. Sky customers with connected boxes will be able to see the premiere episode first On Demand from 22 November.
The acclaimed US drama following the lives of a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement returns for a fourth season, with Tom Selleck (Magnum PI) reprising his starring role as Frank Reagan, head of the family and the NYPD.
He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou, Damages), during his stint as Chief. A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg, Band of Brothers), a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez).
The Reagan women in the family include Erin (Bridget Moynahan, Sex and the City), a N.Y. Assistant D.A. who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father, as well as a single parent to her teenage daughter Nicky (Sami Gayle); and Linda (Amy Carlson), Danny's supportive wife. Jamie is the youngest Reagan (Will Estes, Boy Meets World), a Harvard Law graduate and the family's "golden boy." Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and follow in the family footsteps as a cop.
Created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, the fourth series of BLUE BLOODS is executive produced by Kevin Wade and Leonard Goldberg.
The fourth series of BLUE BLOODS will premiere on 28 November on Sky Atlantic HD. Customers with connected boxes will be able to see the show first On Demand from 22 November.
