CHICAGO FIRE blazes back onto Sky Living HD
CHICAGO FIRE blazes back onto Sky Living HD
The highly anticipated US drama, CHICAGO FIRE, will continue on Sky Living HD from Wednesday 20th February at 8pm with unbroken episodes until the season finale.
From the renowned Emmy Award-winning executive producer DICK WOLF (Law & Order) and creators DEREK HAAS and MICHAEL BRANDT, the writing team behind 3:10 to Yuma, CHICAGO FIRE continues to give us and insight into the lives of everyday heroes committed to one of America's noblest professions. For the firefighters, rescue squad and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51, no occupation is more stressful or dangerous, yet so rewarding and exhilarating. The courageous men and women are among the elite who forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way and whose actions make the difference between life and death.
The pressure to perform on such a high level has a way of taking a personal toll, sometimes putting team members from the Truck and the specially trained Rescue Squad at odds with each other. Despite any differences, this is an extended family, and when it's "go time," everyone inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way than to lay it all on the line for each other.
The brand new series continues with episode 10 “Merry Christmas.” As the crew of Firehouse 51 try to get into the festive sprit, Casey (JESSE SPECER, House) and his team find themselves under internal investigation after a diamond necklace goes missing from a rescue at a lavish townhouse.
Dawson (MONICA RAYMUND, The Good Wife)encourages Casey to party his troubles away, after inviting him to be her date at a family party. His colleagues, however, struggle to do the same, especially Cruz (JOE MINOSO)whose brother gets embroiled in an escalating gang war. Sparks also fly between Shay (LAUREN GERMAN, Hawaii Five-O), and Severide (TAYLOR KINNEY, The Vampire Diaries)
The firehouse also includes Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (EAMONN WALKER, Oz), a fireman's fireman who is confronted by important personal decisions, Peter Mills (CHARLIE BARNETT, Law & Order: SVU), an academy graduate who is the latest generation in a family of firefighters, and Christopher Herrmann (DAVID EIGENBERG, Sex and the City), a seasoned veteran who loses his home to foreclosure and has to uproot his family to move in with his in-laws.
CHICAGO FIRE joins an already strong line-up of US drama airing on SKY LIVING HD this year, demonstrating the channels commitment to bringing its customers a selection of the best US shows. These include the return of GREY’S ANATOMY, CRIMINAL MINDS, BONES AND AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL as well as crime drama ELEMENTARY, starring British actor JOHNNY LEE MILLER (Dexter) and LUCY LIU (Charlie’s Angels).
