David Attenborough to explore the evolution of flight in Conquest of the Skies 3D ground-breaking three part mini-series for broadcast on Sky 3D and in 2D on Sky 1 HD this Christmas
DAVID ATTENBOROUGH’S CONQUEST OF THE SKIES 3D (3x60), the latest landmark 3D series from David Attenborough will arrive on Sky 3D this Christmas, utilising ground-breaking 3D techniques and technology to tell the story of nature’s greatest aeronauts and the intricate engineering that has allowed them to conquer the skies.
In DAVID ATTENBOROUGH’S CONQUEST OF THE SKIES 3D, Britain’sbest-lovedbroadcaster will explore this dazzling world, combining new3D macroscopicand high-speed filming techniques to tell the evolutionarystory of flightfrom the very first insects to the incredible array ofcreatures which rulethe skies today.
From the double BAFTA® award-winning team behind NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM ALIVE and FLYING MONSTERS, DAVID ATTENBOROUGH’S CONQUEST OF THE SKIES 3D willrevealthe dazzling world of flight as never before. David analyses glidingreptiles,parachuting mammals, acrobatic insects and the exquisite andintricate aerialworld of birds on location at a number of locations allover the world includingChina, Rome, Scotland, Ecuador and Borneo.
