Double recognition for Sky at the 2degrees Champion Awards 2015

Sky was recognised twice at the 2degrees Champion Awards 2015 held on July 15 in London. Sky Academy won ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Engagement Award’’ category and Sky’s Bella Vuillermoz, Director of Women in Leadership, was also ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2degrees ‘Leader of the Year’ category.
The 2degrees Champions Awards are voted for from a network of over 48,000 sustainability professionals and celebrate innovative leaders who push the boundaries of sustainable business.
The ‘Best Engagement Award’ recognises the organisation which has been able to best mobilise its workforce behind its awards submission.
Judy Hill, Sky Academy Head, said “This is fantastic recognition. Sky Academy wouldn’t have been so successful if it wasn’t for all the support we’ve had from across our business. Sky staff are core to the Sky Academy experience; their expertise provides real-life inspiration to young people and helps them develop important practical skills such as teamwork, communication and creativity.”
Bella Vuillermoz, Director of Women in Leadership, was recognised amongst a list of inspirational leaders for her work launching Sky Academy, which uses the power of TV, creativity and sport to help young people unlock their potential.
