Today Sky unveils a first look image of Ella Purnell (Fallout, Yellowjackets) reprising her role as wallflower-turned-killer Rhiannon Lewis in Season 2 of the iconically brazen and darkly comic thriller Sweetpea.  

Sweetpea Season 2 forms part of a bold line-up of Sky Originals and Exclusives coming to Sky and NOW screens in 2026 and beyond. From gripping dramas and films to big entertainment and compelling documentaries, Sky continues to champion distinctive storytelling alongside world-class talent - delivering the must-watch moments set to define the year ahead.  

Season 2 Synopsis 

Navigating a new promotion, an irresistible rebound, and a copycat killer threatening to expose her, the kill list is mounting. And Rhiannon is forced to question whether her perfect ex AJ, was right: is she a monster?

Season 2 Cast 

Rish Shah joins the cast as Rhiannon's romantic interest Gabriel, alongside Tamsin Greig who stars as AJ’s mother, Liv. Taj Atwal (Riot Women, Line of Duty) steps in as Freya, Rhiannon’s formidable new boss at the Carnsham Gazette, while Jenny Walser (Heartstopper, Star City) plays an adoring new friend Daisy. Returning to the series are Jon Pointing (Big Boys, Run Away), Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso, Downton Abbey), Leah Harvey (Foundation, The Scurry), Ingrid Oliver (Thursday Murder Club, Doctor Who), Nitin Ganatra (Mr Bigstuff, Sexy Beast) and Alexandra Dowling (Emily, Game of Thrones).
