Father and son duo Harry and Jamie Redknapp and comedian Tom Davis launch their first TV project

Tuesday 5 May 2020

Redknapp’s Home Fixture, a new entertainment series on Sky One and NOW TV launching this week, stars Jamie Redknapp and his dad; football legend and national treasure Harry Redknapp, as well as his best mate; BAFTA winning comedian Tom Davis.

The new six-part series from Expectation starts on Friday 8 May at 10pm and is a must watch for sporting fans everywhere who are missing their weekly fix. The show will see Jamie, Harry and Tom invite the biggest and best names from the world of sport & entertainment to join them from the safety of their own homes, offering viewers a weekly fill of topical sports and celebrity chat as well as a healthy portion of Harry’s infamous anecdotes.

In the first episode, Premier League teams Watford will take on West Ham in a way you have never seen before, nor will again. The episode will also feature sporting guests who’ll join in the chat with the Redknapps and funnyman Tom Davis.

With multiple guests joining the show each week, there will be something for everyone in Redknapp’s Home Fixture as the trio get the low-down during lockdown.

Jamie Redknapp said: “We’re all missing sport a huge amount so I’m so pleased to have been able to team up with my Dad and Tom Davis to bring a bit of sporting chit chat back to Sky at this time. We’ve got some great guests lined up so can’t wait for people to tune in – I’m sure Dad will have a story or two too!”

Harry Redknapp said: “I was really excited to get the opportunity to work alongside Jamie for the first time for Sky and I love big Tom Davis too. I, like the rest of the country, need some sport back in my life so hopefully this will bring some joy to those missing it too.”

Tom Davis said: “Oh boy, two of the main things I’ve missed during lockdown are football and the Redknapps, this show is just what I need..."

Philip Edgar-Jones, Head of Entertainment at Sky said: “If, like me, you’re craving some sport, any sport, Redknapp’s Home Fixture should provide a little bit of light during this sporting blackout bleakness. With Jamie and Harry Redknapp providing the expertise and access, and Tom Davis chipping in with his award-winning humour, sports fans will be sure to have something to look forward to.”

Ben Wicks, Creative Director, Comedy Entertainment at Expectation said: “We are ludicrously pleased that Sky has enlisted Jamie, Harry and Tom to unite right now to fill the gigantic void sport has left in all our lives. Player, manager, fan/comic genius – there’s no better threesome to turn to for a comedic sport-love-in. Not for the first time, Redknapps, and Tom, your country needs you!”

Redknapp's Home Fixture was devised by Jamie Redknapp and Expectation, and commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones, Sky’s Director of Arts and Entertainment and Zai Bennett, Sky’s Managing Director of Content. Shirley Jones is the commissioning editor for Sky. It will be produced by Expectation with executive producers Ben Wicks and Aaron Morgan.
