Help your local school Get Inspired with Jessica Ennis-Hill and Sky Academy

Sky Sports Living for Sport, part of Sky Academy, is offering secondary schools a chance to Get Inspired with Jessica Ennis-Hill. On 27 March, secondary schools from across the UK are invited to the English Institute of Sport in Jessica’s home town of Sheffield for a day dedicated to helping students, aged between 11 and 16 gain skills, experience and self-belief through sport.

The event will be hosted by Jessica Ennis-Hill and attended by other Olympians, Paralympians and World Championship level athletes. We’re running a competition for schools to be in for a chance of taking part in the day. Students will get to take part in a range of sports activities and meet these exciting athletes. It runs until 26 February and you can nominate a schools of your choice here.

ky Sports Living for Sport has now been running for over ten years and is a free, initiative across Britain and Ireland for secondary schools that uses sport stars and sport skills to improve skills, confidence and self-belief  of thousands of young people. Delivered in partnership with Youth Sport Trust, one third of British secondary schools are now participating, with teachers revealing it has a measurable impact on young people’s lives, reporting a boost in self-confidence in 96% of participants and 90% showing improved attitudes to learning.
