Starring the Emmy™ award winning Hugh Laurie, season eight of the smash hit medical drama HOUSE continues exclusively on Sky 1 HD and Sky 1 from Thursday 23rd February at 10pm.

DR. GREGORY HOUSE (Laurie) has become one of television’s most iconic and original characters. With a brutally honest demeanour, and behaviour often bordering on antisocial, House remains a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts afford him a great deal of respect. An infectious disease specialist, he thrives on the challenge of solving medical puzzles in order to save lives, trusting no one, least of all his patients, along the way.

House works with an elite team of experts who help him unravel diagnostic mysteries, including neurologist DR. ERIC FOREMAN (Omar Epps), plastic surgeon DR. CHRIS TAUB (Peter Jacobson) and surgeon DR. ROBERT CHASE (Jesse Spencer). Joining HOUSE in season eight have been prison clinic physician DR. JESSICA ADAMS (Odette Annable) and DR. CHI PARK (Charlyne Yi), a smart yet timid resident. HOUSE also still has a confidant and good friend in oncology specialist DR. JAMES WILSON (Robert Sean Leonard).

Season eight has so far seen House return to Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, having spent a number of months behind bars for driving into Cuddy’s home in the season seven finale. Released early because of a medical emergency House must still wear an ankle monitor, and quickly discovers the landscape and hierarchy of the Diagnostic Medicine department has changed.

In the new episode, BETTER HALF, House and his team see the true meaning of 'in sickness and in health' when they monitor an Alzheimer's patient taking part in a drug trial at Princeton Plainsboro. But when he suddenly suffers from a range of symptoms including an increasingly explosive temper, they unravel a deep conflict between the patient and his dutiful wife, and suspect the man may have tried to take his own life. Meanwhile, House butts heads with new boss Foreman, and Wilson treats a patient who claims to be in a chaste marriage.
