Introducing our latest sustainability report…

We’ve just launched our latest sustainability report and invite you to take a look at sky.com/biggerpicture.
A bigger business, making a bigger difference…
A lot has changed since we published our sustainability report last year. Sky has grown with the acquisition of Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia and we now employ almost 30,000 people and reach 21 million customers across Europe. With this growth comes with greater responsibility and greater opportunity to make a difference. Our new video introduces what we’re doing as a European business and we’ve reported as a group for the first time against our three leading metrics.
How we’re doing…
We’re on track against our main targets - reducing our carbon intensity by 50% and reaching one million young people through Sky Academy - both by 2020. We recognise there’s more to do in areas such as diversity and accessibility and we’ll be focusing on these and on expanding our reporting over the coming year. Click here to see a full update of our progress.
A new way of reporting…
It’s not just our business that has changed over the past year. We’ve also changed the format of our report, now publishing exclusively online. You can read about our overall vision, approach and initiatives on the Bigger Picture section of our site. Please link to the Sustainability reporting section to find out how we work with stakeholders and determine our focus areas, as well as to get a detailed update of our progress in our new interactive infographic.
We hope you like the site and find it useful.
