ITV Player arrives on the NOW TV Box

The NOW TV Box – the simple little device that turns your TV into a smart TV for less than a tenner – completes its terrestrial catch-up offering with the arrival of  the ITV Player App.

From today, customers using a NOW TV Box will start to see the ITV Player App automatically download onto their device as part of a phased rolled out over the coming weeks, letting them easily catch-up on a selection of content from ITV, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV from the last 30 days on their main TV.

This summer, those with a NOW TV Box can enjoy a carnival of footballing action through the App with all the drama of ITV’s 34 World Cup matches being made available on demand through ITV Player. And it doesn’t stop there – never miss episodes of popular shows such as Coronation Street, Midsomer Murders or Emmerdale again.

ITV Player is the latest terrestrial catch-up TV service to launch on the NOW TV Box, which already offers BBC iPlayer, 4oD and Demand 5, adding hours of new content for customers to enjoy at no extra cost.

The NOW TV Box will continue to evolve over the next month with a new software update rolling out to all devices.  Customers can look forward to a refreshed homepage screen with a new look and feel, making it easier to navigate the Apps available on the device and also see the arrival of the BBC Sport App.
