J.J. Abrams’ smash hit drama REVOLUTION is coming to Sky 1 HD on 29th March. The series, which has been a smash hit with US viewers, is NBC’s most successful scripted launch in over three years.
REVOLUTION is an epic adventure thriller from Supernatural's Eric Kripke and J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions. The first episode begins with a family struggling to reunite in a post-apocalyptic landscape devoid of electricity and where all technology blacked out 15 years earlier.
The action-packed adventure is seen through the eyes of one strong-willed young woman, Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos, Being Human), and her brother, Danny (Graham Rogers, Struck by Lighting). The teenagers become separated in the first episode when Danny is kidnapped by militia leader, Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito, Breaking Bad). Charlie is forced to reconnect with their estranged Uncle Miles (Billy Burke, Twilight), a former Marine, now living a reclusive life. Together, with a rogue band of survivors, Charlie and Miles set out to rescue Danny and overthrow the militia, while exploring the mystery of why the power failed and if (or how) it will ever return.
Produced by Bonanza Productions in association with Bad Robot Productions, Kripke Enterprises and Warner Bros. Television, REVOLUTION is executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk and Eric Kripke. The series’ co-executive producers include Jon Favreau (who directed the pilot) and Kathy Lingg. The series is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
REVOLUTION will start on 29th March at 9pm and can be enjoyed exclusively on Sky 1 HD which is also available to customers via Sky Go on PC, Xbox, iPad and selected smartphones at no extra cost.
