Lily Cole’s Amazon Adventure Screening

Last night we held the exclusive screening of ‘Lily Cole’s Amazon Adventure.’

This short film sees Lily our Sky Rainforest Rescue ambassador, make her first journey to the Brazilian Amazon to see first-hand the projects that have been created to help tackle deforestation. Accompanied by multiple award-winning photographer and film maker, Adrian Steirn, the programme follows Lily on each step of her journey to see how with the Acre state government, Sky and WWF are helping to create a green economy in Acre through rubber tapping and the land certification scheme.

The screening was hosted by Mariella Frostrup who facilitated an in depth conversation with film director Adrian Steirn, Alberto Tavares from WWF-Brasil and of course Lily Cole. All 3 gave an amazing insight into their journey in the Amazon and talked about the issues we face today.

Lily shared stories of her Amazon Adventure and highlighted the importance for everyone to get involved. She talked in detail about some of the amazing projects happening in the state of Acre.
