NOTES TO EDITORS

Broadcast live each week, this brand new British version brings the highwire, anything can happen energy audiences expect from SNL — reimagined through a distinctly British lens.

Written, rehearsed and performed in the week of broadcast, preserving SNL’s famously fast turn around creative process. Each show is staged in front of a live studio audience, every episode features an opening monologue, topical sketches, live music, and a UK adaptation of SNL’s iconic satirical news segment, Weekend Update.

Together, this first wave of hosts, musical guests and cast members marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for the globally acclaimed SNL franchise — blending its storied legacy with a fresh generation of British comedy voices.
