Rob Beckett’s Smart TV – the ultimate TV quiz show about TV – is set to make its return to Sky Max and streaming service NOW on Wednesday 5 March. Host Rob Beckett is joined for the second series by returning captains Josh Widdicombe and Alison Hammond, as the trio welcome some the UK’s favourite personalities to celebrate and battle it out on all things ‘telly’.
Each week, celebrity guests will battle through a series of competitive, chaotic rounds to determine who knows the most about TV. The star-studded line-up of guests has also been announced with Danny Dyer, Richard Osman, Richard Ayoade and Motsi Mabuse competing in episode one and appearances from David Mitchell, Richard Madeley, Chris McCausland and Helen George in later episodes.
Only on Rob Beckett’s Smart TV can viewers watch as Alison Hammond and Richard Madeley go head-to-head in the ultimate This Morning showdown, have the chance to spot the famous auctioneer from Only Fools and Horses' legendary "millionaire" moment and discover whether Alison has starred in more reality shows than Joey Essex. Fans will relive some of The Traitors’ most gripping confessions and watch on as Richard Osman gives his expert verdict on Midsomer Murders.
Host of the show, Rob Beckett, said: “I'm delighted to be back hosting the best TV quiz show about TV on TV at time of writing. Alison and Josh are on excellent form as per usual and the guests this year are absolute legends at the top of the game. It was one of the highlights of my year making this show and I can't wait for everyone to see it.”
