Starring the biggest names from the world of sport, Sky Sports has today launched the Greatest Show on Earth; a new campaign featuring Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, Ella Toone, Lewis Hamilton, Ben Stokes, Emma Raducanu, Sophia Dunkley and more. The campaign showcases the sporting spectacle available for sports fans on Sky Sports this year, through the guise of some of the most recognisable faces in the sporting world.
Golden Globe winner and Arsenal fan Idris Elba kicks off the circus-themed film as ringmaster of the ultimate talent show, which sees the cast of sports stars show off their incredible skills within a big top circus. Fans watch on as the amazing Haalando performs a back flip goal, Nasser Hussain bowls fire at Ben Stokes and Sophia Dunkley as they hit cannon balls for six, and Emma Raducanu trapezes through a backhand return.
And it doesn’t stop there...
Jon Rahm aims for pinpoint-accuracy in a matter of life and death, Sky Sports F1 presenter Naomi Schiff breathes fire whilst Lewis Hamilton takes on Lando Norris for a supercharged race around the circus top, while Jack Grealish, Ella Toone and Lauren James perform freestyle tricks through flaming rings of fire. Sky Sports analyst and fan favourite Roy Keane closes the show as he assumes the role of the infamous circus clown...
Set to the iconic tune of Sing, Sing, Sing by Benny Goodman, the advert is directed by Daniel Kleinman, the man behind the iconic James Bond titles.
Managing Director of Sky Sports, Jonathan Licht said: “2023 has already been a year of sport like no other and Sky Sports really does feel like the Greatest Show on Earth.
