Sky 1 enrolls Emma Bunton at Mckinley High in I Heart Glee

Emma Bunton (Spice Girls, Heart Radio) is set to spice up life at McKinley High as she takes Gleeks everywhere on an access all areas tour on the set of Glee in  in I HEART GLEE, on Sky 1 HD this March 10th.

Since its debut, Glee has become a bona fide cultural phenomenon, received prestigious honours and singlehandedly made glee clubs cool again. The series boasts critical acclaim, a die-hard fan base, two Grammy® Award nominations, two platinum and three gold albums, more than 43 million songs and over 12 million albums sold worldwide, two sold-out concert tours, a 3D movie, four Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes, including the award for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical. But just how does this show, which runs for half the year and is made up of over 100 performances a season, work behind the scenes?

Meeting some of the shows biggest names, Emma gets a guided tour of McKinley from Matt Morrison (Mr Schue) and Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) and chats to cast old and new such as Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez), Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams) and Melissa Benoist (Marley Rose) about the enduring success of the show, before settling down for a meeting of minds with Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) on the set of his NY loft apartment.

Emma also has the privilege to be one of the only people to see first-hand the many processes of rehearsal that go into making Glee, including a look at perhaps the most ambitious dance number yet, before heading on set to see the landmark 500th performance featuring a host of the show's stars.

Emma Bunton comments: "As a fan of Glee it was a brilliant opportunity to visit one of the hardest working casts and crew in TV!  It was incredible to see the amount of work that goes in to producing each song and dance number and to sit down for a good catch up with the world famous Gleeks!

Emma discovers a set that never stops for a breath. With the cast either recording songs, filming music videos, rehearsing, running lines or shooting scenes, I Heart Glee promises to be an enlightening look at one of the hardest working productions but perhaps most rewarding job in the business.

I Heart Glee will TX on 10th March on Sky 1 HD. Customers will also be able to watch with Sky Go available on PC, Xbox, iPad and selected smartphones.
