This weekend, Sky Arts returns to the Hay Literature Festival to celebrate seven successful years as their Broadcast Partner. Sky Arts will be filming episodes of The Book Show live in front of a studio audience with guests including Sandi Toksvig, John Banville, Howard Jacobson and Lionel Shriver which will be shown on Sky Arts 1HD, Thursdays, at 8pm from 30th May to 30th June.

Sky Arts will also once again inspire creativity through free creative classes and performances in the Sky Arts Den. Visitors can also interact with the Sky Rainforest Rescue experience onsite. And as part of our partnership we will be holding Sky Sessions throughout the festival featuring Ricky Tomlinson, Johnny Vegas and Andrew Lynch who discuss their collaboration on Sky Arts Playhouse Presents Series; a talk by Lily Cole on Sky Rainforest Rescue and Sky News Foreign Affairs Editor Tim Marshall will discuss why he believes the phrase ‘Arab Spring is harmful to the Middle East.
