Sky Atlantic HD celebrates Golden Globes Success
GIRLS, GAME CHANGE & HOUSE OF LIES
all win at the 70th Golden Globes
London, January 17th 2013: At the 70th Golden Globes awards in Los Angeles last night, Sky Atlantic shows garnered six wins, including a double win for acclaimed comedy GIRLS, which returns to Sky Atlantic HD tonight.
GIRLS won for Best TV Series, Comedy or Musical, as well as an award for the series’ creator, Lena Dunham in the Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical.
In addition GAME CHANGE, the HBO single film about the 2008 American election, won three awards for Best TV Movie or Miniseries as well as Best Performance in a Miniseries or TV Movie awards for leading actors Julianne Moore and Ed Harris.
Showtime’s HOUSE OF LIES, which premiered in 2012 on Sky Atlantic HD also won, with lead actor Don Cheadle taking home the coveted Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical.

Sky Atlantic HD also celebrated recent success at the British Comedy Awards, with Julia Davis’ original British comedy HUNDERBY taking home two awards. HUNDERBY returns to Sky Atlantic HD this evening along with GIRLS as part of Sky Atlantic HD’s Comedy Mondays.
