One minute bulletins to run every night at 9pm

London, 26th November 2012:
From 9pm today Sky News will run daily one minute bulletins on Pick TV, the Freeview channel that showcases Sky content.

The bulletins will be fast paced updates of the day’s top stories and will be produced at Sky News Centre. The first bulletin will be presented by Sky News evening anchor, Martin Stanford.

John Ryley, Head of Sky News, commented: “This is a great opportunity for Sky News to give Freeview viewers a snapshot of our world-class news coverage. Viewers will be able to watch the specially created bulletin and digest the top four to five news stories of the day, and can always turn to Freeview channel 82 where Sky News is available for a more in depth look at the day’s news.”

Stephen Ladlow, Channel Controller for Pick TV added: “We’re thrilled to bring Sky News’ world-class service to our audience on Pick TV.”

Sky News is already available on Sky Channel 501, Freeview channel 82 and Virgin Net 602.
