All episodes of Sky Exclusive comedy-drama, The Miniature Wife, starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen, will be available on Sky and streaming service NOW from 9 April in the UK & Ireland.

Based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzales, The Miniature Wife is a dramedy examining the power (im)balances between spouses Lindy (Elizabeth Banks) and Les (Matthew Macfadyen) after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis.

Emmy-nominated Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect, The Hunger Games) and BAFTA-winning Matthew Macfadyen (Succession, Deadpool & Wolverine) are joined in the cast by Zoe Lister-Jones (Slip, Beau is Afraid), O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale, Presumed Innocent), Sian Clifford (Fleabag, The Ballad of Wallis Island), and Sofia Rosinsky (Paper Girls, Death and Other Details) as series regulars, and Ronny Chieng (The Daily Show, Crazy Rich Asians), Aasif Mandvi (Evil, The Daily Show), Rong Fu (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Hello (Again)) and Tricia Black (Small Achievable Goals, Pretty Hard Cases) in recurring roles.

The Miniature Wife, based on author Manuel Gonzales’ short story, is created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire, Goliath), who serve as showrunners and executive producers, alongside Banks and Macfadyen who also executive produce.

Greg Mottola (Superbad, The Daytrippers) serves as a director (episodes 1, 2, 7, 8) and executive producer on the series. Banks, Macfadyen, Michael Aguilar (I’m Dying Up Here, Kidding), Suzanne Heathcote (The Crowded Room, Killing Eve) also serve as executive producers, alongside Michael Ellenberg, and Lindsey Springer for Media Res (The Morning Show, Pachinko).

The Miniature Wife is produced by Media Res Studio and distributed by Sony Pictures Television. The deal with Sony Pictures Television was negotiated by Katie Keenan, Group Director of Acquisitions for Sky UK and Europe, and Facundo Bailez, Head of Acquisitions for Sky UK and Europe.
