The Love Machine gets a second date as it returns to Sky Living HD this Christmas

Sky Living HD is warming the mince pies and decking the halls with boughs of holly as we welcome THE LOVE MACHINE back on Sky Living HD this Christmas.

Continuing our investment in to original UK content, Chris Moyles and Stacey Solomon will return to host THE LOVE MACHINE for its second series which kick starts with a Christmas themed special packed full of festive flirting. As the nation gears up for another season of good will and fumbles at the office party, Sky Living HD begins the search for true love with tinsel, a live studio audience and giant Christmas costumes.

THE LOVE MACHINE focuses on a giant dating machine filled with single guys and girls hoping to be selected by the night’s contestants.  Ignoring the cheesy chat up lines and awkward introductions THE LOVE MACHINE selects potential partners for contestants who must then pick one to date based on looks alone. They get to dig a little deeper in the next round as we find out more about their personal life before one dastardly final twist gives them the chance to ditch their date for a last minute upgrade.

Stacey Solomon said: “I absolutely love match-making, I’m always trying to set my friends up on dates. I think Christmas is the perfect time for a bit of romance, with all that mistletoe and wine on offer!”

Chris Moyles commented: “This series is bigger and better than the last one.  I can’t wait for everyone to see it”

Grab your reindeer jumper and ready the sofa for a romantic Christmas and love filled New Year with Sky Living HD.

The Love Machine Series 2 further cements Sky’s commitment to increase investment in original British content by 50% in the next three years. By 2014, Sky expects to invest £600 million a year in British programming across its portfolio of channels.
