Visit the Sky Rainforest Rescue experience at the Hay Festival

For a second year running, there will be a Sky Rainforest Rescue experience at the Hay Festival. For the last 25 years Hay has brought together writers from around the world to debate and share stories at its festival in the Welsh Borders. Hay celebrates great writing from poets and scientists, lyricists and comedians, novelists and environmentalists, and the power of great ideas to transform our way of thinking.
Make sure you come down and visit the Sky Rainforest Rescue experience at Hay and discover how the Amazon affects our every day lives.
This experience is free to all ages and open daily throughout the festival (23rd May - 2nd June). There will be lots of activity to keep you and your children entertained.
- Discover what everyday items rainforests provide.
- Come and watch a host of inspiring rainforest programmes.
- Have your photo's taken within our amazing Rainforest experience.
- Take the opportunity to write down your own pledge to the rainforest.
- Have a feel of the rubber that has come directly from the trees in the Amazon.
- Find out how we are working hand in hand with the local people to protect the Amazon we all love.
Want to see Lily Cole?
On Thursday 30th May, we will be showing a short film of Sky Rainforest Rescue ambassador Lily Cole on her journey to the Brazilian Amazon to explore how people are making a sustainable income living from the rainforest. Join Lily to hear how she is supporting Sky and WWF to help protect 1 billion trees in the Amazon rainforest. Book your tickets here.
